gah CS, if only they'd changed some of the game play for the better, i might have gone back to playing it.. but some pretty interesting mods coming out for it
can't wait for DoD |
while waiting check out enemy teritory if you don't know it already. it's free, you don't need wolfenstein to play it.
Back on the topic. I'm playing the hl2 for the last few days and really like it. Love the colors and mood. The game is FUN! _________________ portfolio | art blog |

I bet anything that Stalker, shadows of chernobyl will beat the sh*t out of HL2. It is more advanced digitally, the maps are spectacular. And the game sounds very fun.
Here is the link for those of you who don't what it.

Just finished HL2.
There were actually lots of little things that maybe could have been better...
...but the truth is they'd all just be a severe case of nit-picking. There hasn't been a better game made in the history of computer gaming.
Another 5 years until the next great game? I hope not. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |

Been playing HL2 for a while now. Don't really believe that Stalker's going to beat this game "digitally" or otherwise.
HL2 screenshots don't really make justice to the gameplay and overall art direction, which are IMO some of the best ever. I'm not into FPS games that much anyway, but you have to give credit to HL2's accomplishments. |

Didn't take long to authenticate over dial-up at all! I guess the Steam servers are working fine now.
Anyway, awesome game.
Some of it seems immensely realistic on first glance. Even that first walk around at the beginning. The diffuse light beams, reflective floors, refracting water. Yup, spent alot of time just viewing the scenery before getting stuck in. |

Best pure-action FPS I've ever played, and I've played most of them. Congrats Dhab!
Here's hoping the sequel isn't five more years away.

Nice column this week shaithis, I agree.
About the sequel, I'm looking forward to the expansion pack. Anyone who would like to be a combine soldier? _________________ "Ever forward, my darling wind." -Master Yuppa
