During the week I attended the 12th annual AGideas conference in melbourne, there were heaps of sick artists and designers, some that stood out was this guy from WETA workshop in NewZealand who draw up and build the creatures, weapons and armor for Lord of the rings, Tetsuya Mizuguchi who designs games for sony ps2, xbox ect.. his latest work was titled 'REZ' and a controversial young girl Natacha Merritt from Sanfransisco who takes digital photos of herself nude or having sex, If you want to see her work go to www.digitalgirly.com otherwise she has a book titled 'digital diaries' so you can judge for yourself it it is 'art'. All in all it was a good event, I believe they run this in other contries as well, Its worth it. I think the topic was Creativity = Risk

Her talk was so convincing that it was art, I mean Art is a way to express yourself, doesnt matter what its of, as long as your passonate enough about somthing then no-one can convince you otherwise, ART is just a made up word, who's to say what it does or does not mean.
