I need to give someone my machine ID so he could register a product for me, but I cannot for the life of me remember how to find out what my machine ID is. I googled and nothing came up. Help?

Open a dos window and type
ipconfig /all

That will get you the ip address and the MAC address. Is that what you wanted?

after you do that, the machine ID is shown as 'physical address' without the '-'
