1) Where's Kelowna? Sounds Northwesternly.
Pictures are solid. I don't know which are yours, so I can't really critique them or anything. Snow scenes should have been overexposed to make them look cleaner.
I love that tree shot. I did this whole series where I shot up tree trunks. Problem was, I had too long a lens, so I had this shallow depth of field, so a lot of the shots looked boring. |

Kelowna's in the BC interior. Closer to the south, I think.
I go up that way every summer, but I've never seen the area in winter. Now you've made me want to go even more!!! It does get cold, though.
This summer (June, July) I'll try and get a hold of a camera. Then I can get some pics of Allison lake/Princeton. |

I didnt take any of the winter ones. Im VERY amateur when it comes to photography, but my love for it has been increasing, although I have a long way to go.
Kelowna is in British Columbia, Canada. about 4 hours east of Vancouver.
i took the first 5 pics and the last two. the other guy took the rest. |

Man, I wish I could take some snow pics. I LOVE images of snow. There's something very profound and tragic about a snow scene. |

Bird pics! Woot!
Anyway, my hats off to good snow pics. I was in Virginia last year and it wasn't even snowing but I was freezing my can off. Makes it rather hard to hold a camera still.
I've never seen snow yet. One of these days... |
