ok here is the explanation.

this is much bleaker than anything Ive ever done before.. and I dont really consider this art, since it was done entirely without digital editing, with the exception of rotating it in Photoshop and adding the text.

I was actually scanning my hand for a pic Im working on for work and when it came out like that I thought "gee thats creepy".. then this little story popped into my head and I put it on there.

Honestly its just a hand, scissors and a really dirty scanner. but I think it looks cool.

Coaster, I thought you might say something like that...

Well, it's cool. I 'specially like the way the light hits the fingertips...

I had to.
Scanners make much better cameras then people think, and the other way around. They always add that artistic lighting when b/w that only highlights not the most important thing but the second or so.. I dunno.. I'm babbling this is usually were Rat rolls her eyes and calls me an idiot.

it looks like you moved your hand a little bit while scanning, so the sicors kinda look a bit bent.

but its a cool pic, good story. you have one messy scannery. heh.

yes, you're right Awetopsy, that does rule...usually you see that kind of dirt overlay thing done artificially to look all grungy, no offense to people who do that sort of thing.

Coaster: actually It was my right hand.. but I flipped it as well as rotated it.. but yeah.. lefties rule!!

rat: cool.. thanx

the_monkey: Its hard to hold perfectly still when you are holding scissors in that position.. . Its the scanner at my work.. so it gets alot of use.

Nilwort: thanx.

Im thinking about putting blood on the scissors... not sure tho.
