I particularly like the fine 'texture' detail you've added...

Very cool stuff! Nicely done. How long does it take you to make one of these? Do you have any progress images, skeches and so on?
Keep it up! |

eyewoo. You never cease to amaze me. Your choice of colors and rythm in your images always makes me smile. you must make a fortune in kids books. What's your motivation for these if i may ask? how do you sike yourself up to make such interesting complicated images?? do you use any sort of references? I wish people here would go back to teaching stuff. I remember back in 98 or 99 when Capt. and spoodge were teaching all us noobs how to go about painting. What would it take to get us back to that point?
anyhow i'm babbling.. great work man!!

Nice. I admire the huge amount of patience this has to take when creating it. |

Nocturnal... thanks... This picture was done for Highlights Magazine, a mag for kids. I do one a month for them for what they call their "Thinking Page." As far as making all that money on kids books... don't I wish. So far I've not been able to make a sale in that area...
gLitterbug... yepsir... That and persistance are the two top items on my list of what makes for success... in just about any area of life.

That's really cute! I remember being fascinated by images like this as a kid--there's so much to look at and smile about. |
