I dunno...
What I saw of the previews of Episode 2 on tv...I thought it was another commercial for one of the games.
I'm not a fan StarWars...but EP2's graphics were pretty dissapointing. I still haven't seen it though...nor Ep 1. X_x |

Maybe it's just the video game graphics that are getting really good. |

we're talking about the art of... not the actual movie graphics, it's concept art with character designs, vehicile designs, environment designs, alot of very cool concept paintings by ryan church and e tiemens, if you like mullins work, you'll wanna check it out cause it's very similar
anyways, its a damn good book.
edit: even if your not a starwars fan, i think you'll still enjoy this book very much.

Zach: Nah, That would be stupid. You know just as well as I do that Starwars games, ever since the first few, have used the exact same outdated graphics engine. |

Well not really related to the topic, but i just had to say it, Ja Ja Binks really really sucks arse, but its good to see that George Lucus redeemed himself by getting him killed in episode 2, also I'm a big fan of Boba Fett so this episode is gonna kick arse with Janga Fett. |

JaimeZ: You mean, the artistic merit of a game can be squandered and squashed under the stampede of a megaton franchise?
Never. |

I bought the book for a whipping $56 Canadian.
It was worth every single penny, and MANY more. The absolute best book I've purchased since the Art of Episode I. Ryan Church is a god. |

Yes jr, Erik too.
I just love Ryan's luminescent lighting schemes in his concept stuff. I was quite literally just staring at his stuff endlessly. It is a VERY inspiring book.
