these are for Lorrie Madden's figure drawing and composition class. I'm a first term Illustration major. If you're looking for me on campus I'll be in workshops as much as possible, and work in the copy shop from 12:30-2:30 on fridays. _________________

How many drawings is she requiring from you? I'm a teacher too and I had Lorrie when i was a student. I want to know the number she's asking for. I had heard it was 150 drawings per week. Is that right? _________________ Sheff

Yeah, 150 lay in's a week for the first week and for this last week as well. Think we're starting in with 20 master copies a week after this though. _________________

It's been a while... Just though i's share some gestures here.
Nice to be back.
Gecko, i especially like the 13.10 ( Pekka ). Not sure what's happening around the right eye, but the overall is real nice!
I like the dark hand. great flesh.
...
oOops, I just understood that pekka must be your name, ahaha.
I was talking of the old woman study, lifeo2-o1.
feel free to check my sketchblog with studies and gestures drawings : parvo beati

beat - i like your last works. tell me please how long you paint it. I ask becouse on Film School in Łdź (Poland) profesor show us similar sketches and tell that he paint it 45 second... I can't believe in that. i know that this no very hard to paint but 45second is too fast... heh
of course i congratulate everyone on this topic... excelent work.

EDIT - sorry about the size! i cant access the server so cannot resize. Hope its ok.
thanks for the comments everyone, here are the new figures i promised!
beat - thank you! and indeed it is my real name, Pekka. The thing with the womans eye is that its very, very, asymmetrical, but yeah, the drawing isnt really that good.
During this week i was using ink, acrylic paint, dry pastels.
check out www.drawingpraha.blogspot.com for all of my figure drawings from here.
Keep on drawing people! _________________ Gecko

Sorry for the non-pic-post,but i just gotta say.
your last one there is amazing Gecko, the colors and volume of the model is just great. Huge amount of inspiration. interesting mix there with black ink and dry pastel, definately gonna try that out. Thanks! |
