I'm going to trust the excellent recommendations of you guys again-
Is there a really good planner and calendar software that anyone uses that will alert you with a little note on your desktop of important events? Maybe something that has a quicklink to an address book or weekly planner?
I know that outlook pro does that, but I don't want to drop the coin on office when my "special" version of Word XP is fine.
There's a bunch of shareware I've found but I hate weeding through that crap for something good.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance-

Well, I've been using that thing for about 6 hours now. I have to honestly say it is one of the most interesting and usefull software I have tried. I forget a lot.
So I start writing things down, but when I write it down, I either lose the paper, or I forget to read it. I bought a palm pilot, but that was a pain in the arse. Batteries needed charging every day. It was too bulky, and I didn't need extra technology to carry around with me. This is a great piece. Very usefull. I am at my computer at least twice a day. Once in the morning to check messages, and once at night to do some real "surfing." So this is just perfect for me. |
