Aj, very cool.
My only suggestion is that the warm sand and the warm light on the mountain are 2 totally different lights.. even if the materials are different hues, giving them a bit of unity (perhaps spilling some of that strong red onto the sand, just a little bit) will help keep the color scheme appealing, without too much distraction. I REALLY like the atmosphere on the mountain bottom, the hue shift is a VERY well done!! IMO, maybe a little more atmosphere on the dark part of the mountain? You are improving way too fast man!!!
I actually learned alot from this one.. I'm so used to the orange/blue scheme of temperature that the yellow/Green was a good switch. It taught me a bit more about saturation, edge usage and brush economy, and how to define what I want with more attractive strokes... didn't exactly apply these things this time, but I found out how important they are at least, a little =)

Thanks for the comments, and yes, now that you've said it, all I see is a guitar...
Awesome to see some new people joining up
Justin, that's well done, good job. Good saturation control.
Prik, I love the expressive cityscape.
AJ, the combination of a graphic approach with painterly details is great, and a direction I'd like to take some of my own stuff.
Luc, good job incorporating m@s brushes but not letting them take over the painting. You've got a really strong sense of your own style that shines through regardless of small methodological alterations.
Lean, keep the drawing up, speeds like that will pay off if you focus on sucessive procedural refinement.
Everyone else great work, too many to comment on

Quick snow because I've never made much of an effort to play with curves before to colorize a b+w ipainting. All in all, I think I'll just stick to painting it in color in the first place. Maybe not a bad idea in the first five minute to get some quick ideas though.
Edit- took it a little further before bed.
