Thanks, Raybender. I liked it too until I saw Cicinimo's pics. Now, like most of my work, i find it overly fussy and a disorganized mess.
I think the secret is constantly doing. Obviously a few years of hard knocks will begin to generate success. You learn, and allow yourself to think of these things as exercises in learning. If you go into it wanting to create the perfect pic it will never happen.
Each picture is a personal success if you've learned something from it. From what I can see you've got senseablet control over your overall color, and good storytelling to boot! Nice job!
Cicinimo...hats off, bro! Great design and economical brushwork.

Daryl: Seeing that reddish/yellow painting was like seeing a new Berkey painting (RIP). I love it, so much energy and yet it's like frozen in time. Nice!
yuk: I don't know what "tonitruante" means, but that flying geisha had me laughing out loud. That's just too cool! Also, the blue landscape is really awesome!
