I'm assuming it's because east european countries are mostly poor, and have no thriving entertainment industry, so all the really beautiful women can't exactly go be an actress or model, so they resort to making money the old fashioned way?

And umm - I meant the sex slave trade, ie. the people who reply to an ad in a newspaper to work abroad, have their passports taken away on the airport, are forced to prostitution and sold onward and onward .. that sort of thing. A bigger business than drug trade.

I lived in Eastern Europe and I've never ever im my entire 15 yrs there have heard about what you are saying. I heard about ordinary people being kidnapped by chechens and arabs to work on opium poppy fields but thats about it.
The whole thing sounds ridiculous. 'Passport taken away in airport and later be made a whore?! WTH? Doesn't make sense.

I used to live in eastern europe too and the reason for the more beatiful women is simply because the countries are poorer than western countries so there just isn't as many places to stuff your face with food like macdonalds and whatever. It's really just that simple. There aren't many infomercials for exercise machines in eastern europe.

you may not have ever heard of it IN EUROPE, but it does happen a LOT...sex slavery that is....especially in places like japan...the yakuza run the sex trade over there and quite often you will see elderly women or people from other countries as sex slaves over there (not based on personal experience of course)....a lot of fucked up shit happens in the "soaplands" or the "red light district"
people have disappeared from other countries only to be forced into sexual slavery..and it happens alot!
