You have dreams that span weeks or months???? That's AWESOME! You should record them in a journal or tape record them for your records... who knows, maybe you could sell the rights... or keep a log on your website of your fanastic dreams!

ok well last night i had this dream that i had somehow gotten involved with this governor-election thing, and DMX or somehting was running for governor, and somehow i he had done me a favor so he told me i have to do him a favor by voting for him....so then my mom or something goes and doesnt vote for hgim and i scream at her saying all his thug-dawg-rapper buddies will come and shoot us, and she goes "i dont care i have to vote for what i believe in" so i go and visit him, and when i see him DMX looks like samuel l jackson, and im bruce willis, and then he says "thats it bitch" and then the next thing i remembered was me being in my house and dmx and other rapper guys shooting my house....really fucked up dream huh? i dont even like rap so i dont know where that shit came from...but..whatever :l

I've died in my dreams for many times. One dream that i remember particurarly ( spellcheck ) was that i was squished by a train against a wall.
In a dream that I had sometime ago, I had to kill this large, retarded, bald guy, much like that uncle fester from the addams family. I was not myself, and this guy was supposedly a part of my dream. It was night, and I think it was the mid-thirties or something. It was fall, anyway. I was driving in a car with the guy, going down to a river to drown him. I got him out of the car, bashed his head with a rock, and pushed him into the cold, muddy river. I watched him sink, and went back to my car. I started the car, and looked at the seat next to me. In the dark car, the bald buy was now next to me, staring at me, and grinning. I was scared to death, and started to laugh nervously. He then started to giggle, and did nothing else. I don't remember much else, but that whereever i went, that guy would be sitting next to me, giggling and grinning. I remember committing suicide in that dream, but not exactly how. I died, and was going to some afterlife, when i suddenly got winded up in a black nothingness, with no body, the only thing there being the bald guy grinning and giggling. An unusual dream for me. I am usually myself. Any of you ever left your body in sleep ?

I have dreams of certain places and then I see them when I travel... but the strange thing is that I've never been in those areas before the dream.
My psychology instuctor told us that dreams mean nothing... he also said that not liking a food is just all in your head you can talk yourself into like foods you dislike. Oh well it was an okay course.

Jabberwocky, I think what your instructor is saying is a bit simplistic, not mention bad science. Just because no-one has provided an adequate explanation of dreams so far, it doesn't necessarily follow that they mean nothing.

This is sort of unrelated but I thought I should share. My friend almost paralized himself physically getting out his bed. He was sleeping head first and his alarm clock went off, which was to the left of his head. He was groggy, disoriented and tried to hit the snooze button but completely twisted his neck the other way. In a few seconds he was rushed to the hospital. We still make fun of him time to time, he has learned to take it as a joke.

On a side note, you guys are fucked up. heh. But I can't remember the last dream that I had because I haven't been able to remember a dream since my early high school career (many many many moons ago). I don't know if my REM sleep is messed up or what, but I just don't remember them.

Oh, I had a semi-odd dream again a while ago...

I had a dream in which there was this beach, but there's nothing interesting about that one, except that it apparently sort of set the scene for the next dream. I was heading for that beach again, and I had a black suit on and was carrying a black briefcase. Thanks to some events that took place when I was on my way to the beach (Although they made up the bulk of the dream, they're not that interesting, so I'll skip that part) I fell into some water. So when I got to the beach, my suit was soaking wet, as was my briefcase, and people were staring at me. I was quite cheery, and started throwing these big fish out of my briefcase, and spraying them with a hose I suddenly had. I was saying or singing something like 'go to Nangiala' to the fish, and they were smiling. (A smiling fish is an odd sight)

Nangiala, in case you don't know, is from a movie I saw years ago. It was basically heaven, although not exactly the way the bible portrays it. If you had asked me, what that place was called in the movie yesterday, I wouldn't have known the answer. It came up in my dream, though, for some reason.

I took a nap this afternoon. During that nap, I had a dream. I dreamt I was at school. There was a red flag in the grass surrounded by about 4 Sentry Guns and 4 people. I ran buy, dropped a handful of grenades, then took cover. The four people ran off, the sentry guns blew up, and a girl grabbed their flag and took off running for one end of the school. It must have been the blue teams base. After all that, the assistant principle was yelling and inisted that the bomb culprit turn theirself in.

Pretty twisted, eh? I was playing TFC this afternoon. This isn't the first time I've had computer games enter my dreams.
