Jama, cool post as usually
Obviously inspired with Sparth's abstract technological madness:

sparth - last one is rockin! I was waiting to see something in different theme from you!
samsonreaper - I wish i could crank in so much detail in 1h... awesome stuff
jama, sansan - great stuff!
kang - that last scan is just too good. I love how the simple shapes are tellin the story.
im posting last night's recycling sketches exercise. I gave my try on not looking at references to get the character in, instead, just boxing it out with methods taken from struttura uomo book. Was worth awhile and this is something I wanna explore a bit more with little more dynamic shapes and cam angles.

Could you tell me what you mean by this please? Do you mean you paint over them instead of a blank canvas, or do you re-work the painting by playing with the original idea and maybe taking it in a different direction?

@munin - mix of both. or just even taking small parts of each and use those to detail out new one.

Cpt.Obvious: Thank you for clarifying that. It's a real treat to see you post so regularly lately. I enjoy how many of your paintings are very understated, like the latest swamp mecha. They resonate a sense of realism I don't see very often in fantasy/futuristic art.
Sparth: Love the way the foreground structure divides the canvas.
