saw it on slashdot, but I am skeptical that it'll be mass produced for 2 reasons :
a.) no tires means you can't move it on roads without loading it on the bed of another vehicle
b.) I've seen those personal aircar things that they've been making for 15 years and have never been successful. |

This is one of those things that's so semi-innovative that either we'll be in big walking mechabugs in 30 years, or our grandkids will come across pictures of it in some copy of Popular Mechanics and laugh their asses off. |
