Nice pic btw. The fire kix ass and the "opacity" of the dress is extremely realistic and slick... keep it up.

Nice i love the face, and the fact that you didnt draw he as a skinny lil rake model girl
ok things i think are wrong,
arms are too short and the breasts are weird cause as far as i can tell she aint wearing a bra and boobs dont do that especially if they are that big
love the hair, niec background too!

Actually Darkmoon, they might do that if she's 14 or so and they're just developing. And, judging from her stature, I suppose that 14 is just about the right age for the model. There was a model right? But I do agree that the arms are too short, the left arm especially. As for Spitfire's comment, the translucency of the dress is excellent.
It looks like you worked from a picture, probably one from a high school dance or something of the like. Correct me if I am wrong. Did you use a graphics tablet? How does the size of the posted picture compare to that of the original?

great pic, bud. love the translucent dress and lighting, as many of hte above have pointed out. But yes, the arms are too short. Remember, hands should go to about mid thigh.... elbows are just above waist I believe. Other than that, good job. nice face, especially. |

why does everyone forget the lighting?
Most the time i see Images of Things behind Fire they had a Yellow Lighting to it and lilttle bit of red.
Your not the only one to make this mistake, i seen lot of outher that had just WHITE lighting, I dont see much of 'bounce light' Light thats reflects off outher things..
under stand?
Over all its a nice image =)
thanks for posting it

Here i did a quick overlayer on it..Yes i also think the arms need to be longer.
the Elbow of the arms comes down to the hips (so the arm in this image still needs more work)
anyways my point is take some Color from background/frogound and Use it as lighting insted of using just WHITE LIGHT.
again, its a good Render of a person. love the hair.

Nice pic Bg! I like the face and hair especially.
A thing I would consider for improvement is lighting in this scene.I would add more shadows and get the lighting like coming from the background (the fire)-
Anyway keep up your work and post soon again!

I have finally finished and fixed all the things that you mentioned were wrong (at least I think so) and it took about
3 hours. Total time used to the image was something between 24 and 30 hours.
Here's a piece of the original resolution picture (1200x1400).
Oh, I used Wacom tablet and a picture of Britney Spears (above).
Thanks to you all, you were really helpful (especially Zapman). Opinions about the lighting (or in general about
the picture)?
