Used a photo as a reference ( ie. looked at a photo while drawing, if this seems unclear )
Hmmm - while being incredibly depressed without any reason, i find enough strenght in myself to move the mouse and send this image to the net to be criticized. blech.

Excellent!
No need to be depressed... this is good stuff! Strange style, but I like to se all sorts of different approaches to digi-art.
Did you start with the shaded part or with the sketchy lines?
It would look great with a background of sorts...

Hmmm... refreshingly bleak looking. So much of the art here is so bright, except for those Dark Path Image guys. But even their art is what I'll call "comicbook dark and evil." This image is much more like what I'll call "Camus's existentialist style twisted and moody." All in all, very nice work...
