I drew this pic by request, he is supposed to be a male vampire based off a game called Vampire: The Masquerade ( I never played it)
Anyway, I have yet to send him this pic and before I do I just wanted a few opinions first.
P.S. This is my first Male character!!
UPDATE... The abs, the top...bump... is the bottom of his pec's

Cool!
Some critique:
* is it an elven Vampire because of the ears? NOTE FOR NON ROLEPLAYERS: elves cannot be transformed to vampires
No seriously:
* Textures are great but the two pillars right and left Don't look round to me.
* His nose seems a bit too sharp and too long.
* Something seems off on the troath. (like a hole or something)
* finally the composition makes a very static impression because of the symmetry. But maybe you went for that look.
/Plz dont hate me now - I'm digging deep to find those little quirks.
Very good work after all

Nex: Yes he is an elven Vampire. He (the requester. whatever) wanted a vampire and I wanted a character that I can use later to go along with my Niamh series minus the vampirism.
As for the nose... that was a bitch to do so I settled on the first thing I came up with that looked decent. |

Overall the picture looks great ,the only thing that looks a bit strange to me is the ears. They look a bit too "vertical".

I like the picture, it reminds me of Blade and that chick *sorry* from the Matrix, forgot her name. Anyway the toning, smooth lines really add to the feeling of the overall composition. One problem though; since you have been doing females a fair bit (im assuming that is) your work has been carried over to this one. The vampire looks very feminine. Get me at all?
I think the face should be more angular, and the muscles a little more exagerrated.
Aside from that, its great! |
