Cool stuff! What kinda texture did you use for the clouds? Looks pretty cool! The 'glow' around the two characters/trees looks a little faint, but that can easily be fixed (set airbrush to 'screen'). Hope to see the finished pic soon |

Cool pic.
I'd make the shadows on the two background characters a little darker. Right now its.. dark body.. dark feet.. light ground.

WOw that is incredible mandis, only problem I see is that it's hard to differentiate the assassin from the mutilated garble next to him, looks like he's sticking out of his stomach or something
Man that is an amazing pic, great detail

Hey Kos, great pic! (even tho I thought
the game was shite =D) hehe, very cool comic style, your work's more and more impressive with every new piece. The stealth part is pinned down great, the mist and moonlight
add greatly to the mood and atmosphere, great detail on the image too. If anything, the chopped up guy is a kinda unclear... not sure if it's assassins legs or the guys shoulders down there.... apart from that, excellent work man, cant wait to see whats coming next!

I really like your style, kos.mandis.
The detail is great, the line quality, coloring, composition... its a reality all its own - without having to be 'realistic.' I dig art like this
If I were to modify anything, it would be:
1. Similar or the same to what Oscar said, I'd add a glow of light where the moonlight hits the characters on the left (but just on the sides directly facing the moon).
2. To bring the ninja out a bit, perhaps add a dynamic, stretched shadow to his right.
Great work!

Thanx guys, great remarks- everything will be fixed for the final release -I had started doubting my stuff
Oscar: No texture, it's from a picture (my picture, I don't rip people off )
Cos: Yup the game was crappy, 2 is even worse Coming up next is Sarge, TankJr and Mynx on top
Btw is the image too dark?? (it seems that several monitors are different in brightness-seeing my webpage from a couple of other pcs, all my images so far looked way darker than supposed to) |

I'm with Pete here, it is very hard to differentiate the two people in the foreground. Otherwise it rocks.

Kos,
Nice colors. The tree in the foreground looks flat. Maybe the turn of the left side should be more subtle, right? Plus, the light would not carry over as far as you have it.
The main guy there looks cool, but he would be much darker, especially on the planes that are on the right.
The light on the brush, dirt and tree would be cooler, instead of warm.
That's my too cents. Nice image. |
