*EDIT*

Added in my photography page today! You can check the post at the bottom or just click here: http://div.dyndns.org/beth/photography

*EDIT*

Hey everyone, I decided I would post this here mainly because I didn't want to get chased out of the forum for posting in the wrong place. I hope this is cool with everyone.

Here's my webpage, I just recently finished it:
http://div.dyndns.org/FOO!/

I'd like any and all opinions on it. Everything from the layout of the webpage to the artwork itself. I'd also like opinions on what kinda of jobs I might be able to get with my skills - umm, if I have any. I sure hope I do

Thanks!
-Beth

Katherine Elizabeth Dinger?

I checked your site out the other day. Kinda simple, but really nice. I like the way you did your gallery and stuff. It loads real quick and your thumbnails are a good size to see what it is.

Only thing that looks weird is some of the text formatting is skewed in a few places.

Other than that it looks great for a portfolio.

Yeah, you mean the little part where Trendane's Run wraps around? I hate that, hehe... I'm thinking that I might just take off the Greek Characters to make room. Those guys make me look like a Dodge/Burn pansy!

I also have a lot more artwork than that so I'm thinking of putting a "more" link to take the viewer to another page with samples of my work. Or do you think I should just leave it off?

Either add it to the same page or make a more page. But if you have more stuff you shouldn't leave it off.

You have some good design skills. I like the layout of your page. The Clan link didn't work though.

Thanks peoples, I'm glad you like the page.

I appreciate all comments!

I took the Greek Characters off... I like them but I think they'd be better elsewhere. Maybe on my "more" page.

Cool, I have only known a very tiny handful of Beth's throughout my entire life. You'd think it's a very common name but I find that it's not. We're a rare breed us Beths!

Where did you get the name Jezebel from?

There was a Boys II Men song called "Jezzebel". Like to hear... here it go..

Saw you on a Sunday afternoon
Riding the B train
Yes, I was coolin' on the train
You had an air about you
I had to know and soon
First sight and I didn't
Even mind the rain

Your glow was the ailment
To all my pain inside
I sat beside your body and asked your name
Your fragrance made it hard to explain my plight
Of how you're driving me insane

Chorus:
Jezzebel don't know you well
I can't believe how my feelings took over
But I'd like to
Let me let you know that I'm on
And I want you
Aiming to please just let me show you

The moment that you opened up your lips
I knew that you were the one
Hope you don't mind if I touch your finger tips
Please don't draw the line just yet
I promise I won't go too far
Cause you've been haunting me
Every since I saw your face
I can't escape you now
Be mine and wait and see love that
Many people search their whole life for
Here to let you know babe,
That I'm real, oh so real

Chorus

Breakdown:
Wanna get to know you
Don't know your nationality
Can we converse and see
When a good time to get together
Baby...am I being a little fast
No, I don't know
Maybe so I don't think so
In fact I don't care
All I want to do is touch your hair
And taste your air
What perfume are you wearing
Oh, oh the smell

Chorus

Recoil's Jezebel sounds better.

"Well stop, great God, stop there and listen, listen to the story bout Jezebel. Her sins were so wicked Jehovah got angry, her soul went leapin and jumpin into Hell. Way back yonder in the olden days, John told Jezebel to borrow her ways, said her evil deeds had ruined the land and repent for the kingdom of God was at hand. She got mad at John cause he told her bout the gospel, told her servants to boil him in oil. Well they tell me God looked from the windows of the heavens, spoke one word and the oil wouldnt boil. He raised his hand, creation trembled, stamped his feet and time stood still, raised his voice, looked down and thundered John! Go do my will." You got to go to judgment, stand trial. Then they tell me John moved through the power of the gospel, told Jezebel her time was nigh. On the book of life, her days were ended, her time run out and she had to die. Well they tell me God walked his footsteps thunderin, he moved his head and his eyes flashed fire, clapped his hands and death come jumpin, Jehovah was angry, somebody had to die. You got to go to judgment, stand trial. Then Death come knockin on Jezebels door and said Come on woman aint you ready to go? Of your evil deeds Gods done got tired, you got to go to judgment, stand trial." Then Death come leapin she jumped into Hell, great God Almighty I heard them tell. Nine days she lay in Jerusalems streets, her flesh was too filthy for the dogs to eat. You got to go to judgment, stand trial. Jezebel, mind Gods talking, says hes tired of your evil ways. You got to go to judgment, stand trial."

sez tha man who's listening to astral projection's another world/nilaya as we speak....

The real story behind Jezebel

***

jezebel chaste, the daughter of Ethbaal, the king of the Zidonians, and the wife of Ahab, the king of Israel (1 Kings 16:31). This was the "first time that a king of Israel had allied
himself by marriage with a heathen princess; and the alliance was in this case of a peculiarly disastrous kind. Jezebel has stamped her name on history as the representative of all
that is designing, crafty, malicious, revengeful, and cruel. She is the first great instigator of persecution against the saints of God. Guided by no principle, restrained by no fear of
either God or man, passionate in her attachment to her heathen worship, she spared no pains to maintain idolatry around her in all its splendour. Four hundred and fifty prophets
ministered under her care to Baal, besides four hundred prophets of the groves [R.V., 'prophets of the Asherah'], which ate at her table (1 Kings 18:19). The idolatry, too, was
of the most debased and sensual kind." Her conduct was in many respects very disastrous to the kingdom both of Israel and Judah (21:1-29). At length she came to an untimely
end. As Jehu rode into the gates of Jezreel, she looked out at the window of the palace, and said, "Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?" He looked up and called to her
chamberlains, who instantly threw her from the window, so that she was dashed in pieces on the street, and his horses trod her under their feet. She was immediately consumed
by the dogs of the street (2 Kings 9:7-37), according to the word of Elijah the Tishbite (1 Kings 21:19). Her name afterwards came to be used as the synonym for a wicked
woman (Rev. 2: 20). It may be noted that she is said to have been the grand-aunt of Dido, the founder of Carthage.

***

Oh yeah... I'm a wicked one =D

I have more black and whites stashed away in my closet which I haven't scanned in yet. I'm going to try to get around to that because a lot of people have been commenting on them

The flowers aren't really meant to be moody, just pretty :>

Thanks a lot!
