A rough Boba drawing(one of my favourite characters)

I used two tones. I light grey and a darker grey.Sketching was done with a pencil.
Comments?

nice sketch micke. i could also see the hidden monster in the top right corner
anyway, did you use pantone markers? if so, did you ever try those COPIC markers? i think they're a bit better and less expensive. try some one day if you get the chance...

Micke you do Boba Fett great! I really like
the color one on your site too.

I can see the monster too...

Did you start with the pencil sketch and then
shade with the markers?

Micke: These things aren't my favourites but I like this one. I have almost never tried to do anything in markers. I have always worked in ink and pencil. I would like to try but I don't know what kind of markers do you use? His right hand looks some muddled if you compare it with the other body and whole. This is my opinion.

Are you working this up for something micke? Cause you forgot a few things. Like the wookie dreds he has hanging from his shoulder and the jet pack.

sear:Yeah i used Pantone-markers.
I have'nt tried the Copic one yet.
The dude:Thanks
I started with pencils and ued the markers afterward.
Yourmum:They are called Prisma markers.
Yeah i can see the hand is messed up and so is a couple of other things.I don't think i'll bother to fix any of the errors.
Maybe i'll do a cleaner one from skratch instead and try to keep the errors in mind.
Thanks
Chapel:No this is'nt for anything at all. Me and a friend of mine(Rune Spaans):
http://home.c2i.net/spaans/
tried to draw Mr. Fett without any referance during a 10 minute break at the figure drawing class. Oops! I left out the
Wookie braids and Rocket pack. The gun is
als totally shit, cause i don't remember how it looked.

Thats not bad with no reference then. You also forgot the little rocket launcher thing on his wrist. The gun is pretty close actually.. course you didn't really define it, so that blur will pass for it.

By the way, your friend's site is kinda weird.

Very nice Micke. The pose and style reminds me of the speedbike stormtrooper sketch by Nilo (i think) from the return of the jedi book.
I just noticed there's no line sketch. It's all rendered using values. Very cool! This is an excellent example for those who wants to learn markers.
My only comment is perhaps you can go a little more dark on the black (espcially the background....it'll pop the figure out even more. And the area around hte gun is a bit confusing. But you can just do this in photoshop. This is a quick sketch for you, so no big deal on the comments....
Anyways, cool sketch!

ps. your friend has some cool stuff on his page.

Micke: Okay. Prismas. Yep. This is great if you didn't use reference as you said. Good.

Does Boba Fett not escape from the Sarlac in one of the novels?

Great sketch, my only criticism would be that his gun and the background blend and are very confusing at first glance.

Better late than never...
Bizarde: The belt is not too defined. Gonna fix that, thanks.
Vortx:Ha ha, i probably had that one in the back of my mind when i did it. I love his drawings The reason for not being any lines
in it is because my scanner sucks bigtime.
It takes away all thin lines(almost impossible to scan my figure drawings).
Yeah, the figure almost disapears in the
dark areas. I only had two markers that i used. one bright, one dark, but i'm doing a new and i'll try to fix that. Thanks
Did you get my mail?
Poxen:I guess Pantone and Tria are the same
types. are'nt they? Somebody correct me if i'm wrong. It does'nt look bad at all for a first try, just keep on practising. I'm not
very good at markers and i probably use them
in a wrong way. Feng, Bizarde or wacomonkey might help you more.
Thanks again for the feedback:9
