HEy I got back From England and Italy today... I had an awesome trip.... I did all musems Galleyies Cathedrals etc.. in Italy they were all awesome... I saw all the great Marble statue too Like David and stuff.... Man its huge it took Michalangelo 2 years to carve...
I may scan some pic in of Florence and stuff if you want..

anyway heres a pic which ive been twidling away at for ges... I really just havn't had thAT much motivation to finish it.... well I nearly have its still all quite rough.. but im getting there.

I guess I could of enterd this guy in the 3dpallete contest some months back..

anyway I can't really see any major flaws...

well I can see one or two I wont mention them.. because it will lead you right to them...
and its best if you pick them out... IM interested in what you guys and girls if any

have to say..

hmm his head is not in proportion and doesn't show a spherical shape, it also looks as if he is flat and in an unreal lighting position, need more contrast form the bg too. I like the concept though

He looks like a jumble of body parts. Abe Lincolns head, a gladiator/roman chest plate, army belt, cargo pants and some cool german boots. The skin tone in the head doesnt match the arms. Um, thats about all i see. Groovy concept, just pull the guy altogether

yea ill try and post some pics..

these are some screens and stuff of the face.. spooges one is on the end... you know the guy from gladiator... I love this guys strong facial features.. and as you can see I enphasesed them much more in my pic. than in these reference shots..

Man, I was combing the forums looking for that spooge pic. I forgot he posted it under a different name. That was my favorite.. till he did his columbus pic.

Hmm. Hope you want crits at all...

Some things: The trousers draw a little too much attention IMO, the difference of detail in boots and ground makes him float a little over the BG and that zigzag line under the rifle looks like someone else tried to wreck your work with a swift stroke...and the eyes should be more in the middle of the head if realism is intended. Just my opinion...
Apart from that it's a cool pic, I like the overall colour.
