Thanks Sumaleth... pic was done entirely in Painter... no scan, no nothing... I was VERY impressed!

The winner is lead artist at some gaming company(I forget which-not a big one methinks, but a known one). I'm happy I got in the top 5. I don't think I can enter this month though-7 deadly sins is such an oblique topic that outside of a mural I don't know what I could paint.

Hey guys,

Here is a little info on Don:

He is on the faculty at Brigham Young University where he teaches Senior level �Illustration� and �Painting the Human Head�

and...

Don has been Art Director of Saffire Corporation for the last 5 years. Saffire is a leading video game developer located in Pleasant Grove, UT.

Those images are quite beautiful!

Besides the winning picture, I really like "Heaven, Hell, And Humanity"... I think it's really moving

wow, that one amazing. how old is that guy, where does he work at? and most importantly why doesnt he post here? the runner up is also pretty incredible

I have some he sent me... let me ask if I have permission to post them here. He told me not to post them at In Depth but that was because they were sketches and such. If he agrees I will post them to this thread.
