Ok...I'm going to type this as I look at your site. it may sound harsh at first, but I think it's best if you get a true first reaction....here goes...
Intro is interesting, but too long to only end up with what you have as the result. The intro tells me that there is something mysterious inside, but alas...it's just text.
Took me a second to figure out how to enter the site. This function of your site should be very easy to find or offer someway for the viewer to find it, moving text, rollover, color change..etc.
Ouch, the text is too small, and the colors are way to contrasty for that text.
Remember we read from left to right, so by the time we get to the end of your line of text, we have to go all the way back to the left and start over, this is hard to do on your page because the text is small and the paragraph length is too long. Try using columns for your text if you have alot of it.
Try using a table with 3 columns, use the center column to separate the two sections of text evenly. there are other ways, but this one works pretty quickly and does a fine job.
your pull down menus get hard to read if they pass over the counter at the top of the page.
Why is there all of that space to the right, the window wants to scroll way over the right, but there is nothing there but black??
Is this a table? try setting it's width to 100% so it will scale with the window size, if it is, this will clear that up
Ok, this was very curious to me, so I looked at the source. Your layers are way too long. Try shorten them and use pixels for their dimensions and not %, this will keep the text from moving when the window resizes(in your main interface, navigation) this only happening on your home page, the others are fine..looks like one of those last minute things that slipped by you
Ok, sorry to sound harsh, but that's the first impression I got.
I suggest fixing that text as soon as you can, increase it to about 12, and try using arail, helvetica or sans serif for your font. They are easy to read and most people have these as system fonts. Maybe some other folks will help critique too.
I know sites are hard to get right and I can see you put some work into this site. It's just a matter of tweaking now and you'll be fine
good luck with it

thanks for the helpful critique there samdragon.. i noticed the counter, but (silly me) didn't do anything about it.. *slap myself*.. i also did notice that when you finish with the intro and get to the main page, it's kind of a dissapointment being slapped with a fistful of text.. i'm trying to think of what to stick in there in place of it.. but i'm having no success.. maybe i should take the main page out and just make u start at the news? i dunno..
i linked all the pages to a single stylesheet file, so now i can change the font sizes and stuff as i want.. i changed the font size to 10pt.. 12pt just seemed way too big..
i haven't uploaded my updated page yet.. it's kinda hard when i've got no working stiffy drive or cd-writer and my net connection is at a net-cafe.. heh..
as for that black piece on the side.. i didn't notice that at first.. and it doesn't show up on my computer, but it shows on this machine... weird.. anyhow, i'll go thru my layers and see if there are any i haven't used a percentage with..
thanks,
l8rz!
