The first time i do a scenery instead of single misc objects or whatever...
The fire is ripped from the Bladerunner DVD ...the bg sky was from somewhere else too ahem... might replace the fire by time as it don't really fits with the rest of the pic.
hmm well, i just finished it so i might be unable to see some major crap going on with the pic
The original sketch, wasn't done with the idea of coloring it later so the above composition doesn't looks terribly alive.

those are really kickass textures on that robot guy, are they hand painted or overlayed?
[edit] also, in the original drawn one the knees are more defined, u might want to push that into ur new, colored guy

The character looks very good SF, very well done. I'd revise the lighting a bit on the chest plate as it makes it look asymetrical, plus a few other small things like the width of the red strip near the hands changing, but it's damn well rendered. Very nice work. |

Cool man! I really like the design of that mech (?... alien perhaps?)
With some work the fireballs would fit nicely. Maybe have them coming off of some lava flows or something. |

I think that the pic where you can only see the rendered guy is alot better then the composed one..I think you destroyed it by adding a photo for a background etc. You can see all those nasty JPG artifacts as well. Try painting the background yourself, it will look much better. Right now it looks "fake" ..imo.

robot, mech, alien, guy ?? ...i should have made the boobs bigger hmmm...
Frost- the red stripes are a bit fucked up yep, i really have to sleep over for the rest, have been staring at the pic for to long =] ...but i think i know what you mean chest-wise.
Binke- Might give it a shot, if i get on the mood again fire and sky are annoying me too, ...or i'll just size the whole thing down to 640x480 ;P
thx for the comments |
