I borrowed one of my teachers figure drawing books and was looking at it and found a picture i wanted to try. So before my friend came over i tryed to draw a simple figure with my wacom. Its done under 5 minutes. I know the one of the arms is bad, but my friend was here so i wasnt able to fix it.

Wicked: With all the posts coming in the past few days, some are bound to slip because A)The thread is pushed down too quickly and B)Perhaps don't know what to comment on on your pic.
Personally, I haven't seen your thread until now, so please don't take offense and slap the forum people for not replying, because that will eventually lead to people like myself not even bothering to read your threads because of your attitude... that not only goes for you but for a few other member who have been doing that lately... if that happens, just bump it up every 2nd day or so without menacing or insulting. =)
As for the pic goes, there's not much to comment on as it's quite vague, since you've used a large brush... it's hard to make out the details. The one thing I caught onto was the butt crack that seems too straight up, giving her a very flat butt. Had you used a smaller brush, had defined the edges and the anatomy a little more, and NOT used some cardboard bump background, I'm sure you would have gotten more replies as people could have seen in more detail your efforts... which is what it's all about -- you draw this to learn anatomy so it's therefore very important that you show people the details of the anatomy for people to comment on.
It looks good, but again, it looks as though we're peeking at a women showering behind frosted glass... not much to see or comment on. The general proportions are good.
Happy Holidays Wicked. |
