Read the main tutorial, very nice for the beginner that I am =). I have all my base colors and such, that was quite simple, and I'm ready to go to the dodge/burn stage. This is where a nice little problem comes and bites me in the butt.. got NO clue how to set the magic wand to do the dodge and burn stuff hehe. I'm sure this is pretty easy to answer, and yes, I am an idiot for not knowing =)

just use the dodge/burn tool. in the photoshop palette it's there, one looks like a black ball with a line in it, the other looks like a hand or something.
