1920 x 1440 resolution Monitor
compared to a 1600 x 1200 resolution monitor

ones a P95F Viewsonic, other one is a PF795

which one to get ?? ones 600 bucks, ones 700 ? I can afford the higher one...

is the higher resolution going to help me out if i'm doing crazy detail, or just if im doing any artwork at all ?

not only that...im getting a second monitor
and doing a dual display, which i believe
Spooge Demon and some others use...i'm not sure whether he does or not, but I guess you have to in order to paint at such a LARGE size, with large brushes so loosely, and make the image look so sickly good you just want to jump right into it.

Thanks so much

Anthony

I would say that when doing matte paintings or any compositing work, then you can NOT get too good of a monitor. Get the higher one if you can afford it.
