What I like to do is go in photoshop, make myself a custom brush with a couple dots on it then go to where you need hair and stroke away in the way you want, then for highlights/shadowing just set it to either dodge or burn

Custom brush is good, although I recommend always always picking your colors and not dodge/burning. Size should be set on your stylus remember, unless you want very bristley fur. You could also set color to pressure, to get some color variation on the roots/tips. |
