Okay I just installed XP on my computer, but now Photoshop won't run. I get this error saying that error can't be brought up or something. It's the only program that's done this. Anyone run into this problem? I went from ME to XP and my b/f said that I might need to reistall or get the patch again. I asked my instuctor and she just said that there was two problems: 1) it's a PC and 2) it Microsoft. But besides that if anyone has ran into this problem and have figured out what to do to fix it can you please help me? |

Did you try reinstalling Photoshop?
I had this problem, including another one besides Photoshop, and I ended up reformatting my drive in the end which worked. But I think for the Photoshop problem, in the beginning, I just uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked. If you have already tried this and it did not work, you may have to do the dreaded reformat. It is probably some registry issues that came with the upgrade!
Lousy registry issues...

I didn't put it on my b/f did. He figured I would find all the booboos in any program. And since he's going to have to work witht his program I guess he figures it would be better fixing (breaking) it on my comp first before his works computer. He also did it to keep people out of my files. I know there's other ways of doing that, is would be the best.
Honestly I haven't had any problems with it but this. It looks really odd, but I also go a better monitor as well.
No I haven't reinstalled it yet. I don't have the CD at my house and I just found the PS is not working last night, but I wa thinking that might be the best to do. |
