I've seen everyone talking about it, and showing art from it, but what is it? How do i get it? I think it would be a grand learning tool, if its what I think it is.

Paintchat is like a picture that lots of ppl paint on together at the same time. You can even play noughts and crosses!

I don't do it myself, but I know that a lot of them are not open to anyone, and that you have to be in contact with the owner. Just let them know you want to join and they will let you in if you look like you won't cause any problems. This is just to try and weed out anybody who comes in and destroys the picture or harrases ppl.

(I don't have any links to sites, but I'll check out any that ppl post here, cos last time I tried it it was really good fun!)
