I think that's nice!

Another thing you might want to try is take a less cartoon look to it and make it more 3D (more contrast between the light and dark). Just an idea!

Yes I would like to try some things that are less cartoony, but the sketch that I worked from was fairly cartoony to begin with.

Hey Dude, just curious.. I also got a Wacom ArtzII 12x12. And I love it.
What's the main difference in drawing ( not in specs of the two boards ) between the ArtzII and the intuos for you ?

Well, lets see here. It feels a lot smoother, I can really tell the difference between 256 levels of pressure and 1024 and it seems to be more accurate as well.

I also like it better because of the smaller size and lower profile, it's not such a size commitment on my desk and it just "feels" better. ALso the ergonomic pen is much nicer than the straight, round cylinder that comes with the Artz II.

The main reason I switched was that in Photoshop 6 while painting I would lose pressure sensitivity for several strokes at random intervals and there was nothing tech support could do to help. I'm actually glad I had to, though.

Hope I answered your questions.
