If I wasn't a social welfare bu- uh, I mean, artist, what would I be?
A computer geek. No wait, that doesn't count either.
Probably a gigolo or something demanding equally high moral fiber. Drug dealer, pimp... Y'know, something rewarding.
Seriously though, I'm not an artist yet, I'm not making a living off it, so I can't say. |

Art used to be my big thing, but now I'm a wannabe actor... which is an art form all its own. I'm also a musician, but haven't played anything in a long time. I think my wet dream would be a movie that I wrote, designed, directed, acted in, and scored.
Edit: I'm just a college student anyway.

I wouldn't call myself an artist... and "art", as such, isn't really one of my interests. I really, really love to draw though.
If I couldn't do that... eh... I'd probably just be writing in my spare time and feel unfulfilled. I'd have finished my education, and I'd have become a teacher. Mmmf. Maybe I still will. Imagine me as a teacher...? |

well putting art on paper is not my main passion so much as conceptualizing it and getting it out in any medium is... I just dig creative expression. |

uh, well I'm not really a professional artist, but that's the future path I chose :P
If I wouldn't have chosen that I would have gone my dad's way of being a musician
Oh an besides art I like gambling with my spare money on Wallstreet :P |

If I wasn't into art I probably would have picked up on programming by now. I also love science and english. Considered being a marine biologist or a botonist at one point. Realized it wasn't the life for me though... I need to create. I love art |

if i weren't a designer, i think i might be a scientist (which field? dunno, but probably something involving linguistics and/or sociocultural studies, or maybe mathematics, or, if the possibility should arrive, xenocommunications , or chemistry, anything that gives me the opportunity to discover something totally new[hey, what about cryptozoology? ]). Or a musician, if those damn labels wouldn't keep rejecting me
things i would never be able to pull off successfully: being in the medical field, lawyer, anything that requires me building/fixing anything (like, plumber or woodcraftsman or anything of that sort). I'm so terribly clumsy. on so many levels... sigh |

used to play the drums for a short time many years back..( i tried to pick it up last year again..and i couldnt do anything decent..) im thinking of buying a synth though and learning how to play it. ( and maybe a drum machine..)
so for me its either drawing/ painting/3d/ or music.
actually...i could do some computer things as well.( but wouldnt want to do it for a living.) |

You mean there's something else out there? Wow
I think if I hadn't met the people I did that started me on this trip.. computers probably. Programming or hardware.
And it's interesting that science has come up a lot in this topic. Guess what though.. me too I was seriously thinking about it too; I talked to people about what I could do in the field, and biology looked liked something I could handle. That was until I took biology..
Another one is music.. somehow. Maybe I'd be teaching more. |

If I wouldn't get to be an artist I would probably be an electrical(?) engineer and designing speakers, cd-players and other audiophile stuff. Or perhaps a scientist of some kind. Probably in physics. Or I'll just be a cleaner at a school or something |

If not art, I'd go back to programming, though I would probably hate it. Either that, or a pennyless male 'strip-dancer' in some remote town in the middle of nowhere where the only clients would be 45+ yr.old single women who's husbands are out bidding on Betsy the cow at the fair to later bring her 'home'... at least, that's how appealing I think I am to women. |

Well, I'll skip the bitching about the word "artist".
I think I'd be an even lower form of life. |

Ummmmm......
Errrr... heh...
I don't think I ever knew there were options other than doing what I had to do.
Probably I'd be on a bar stool, in some hick town, drinking that bathwater beer they serve and working at the factory...
Presuming I wouldn't have gone crazy and killed everyone first....

Art is my number one passion, but if I didn't have the art talent, I would want to do something with computer programming. |
