if you were attempting some sort of digital shading (which it looks like) try and use more shadows to get a better feeling of depth and less 2d ness. |

yeah, hehe sorry, i know its still very rough.. right know i'm trying to work out some anatomy problems.. i've only done some limited painting but i'm on it ;-) thanks for the input |

hmm.. well i worked on this some more, the coloring is very very rough.. and i'm still trying to workout the anatomy problems.. any suggestions and greatly appreciated

Get a good anatomy book and copy the drawings and photos for a while. Make accurate copies. You don't know enough yet to try and make this stuff up.
And then go to life class. Don't think about why this is difficult or inconvenient, simply do it.
Carry a sketchbook with you at all times (the chicks dig it) and draw until your fingers hurt. |

Yeh, chicks od dig sketch books!
Anyway staying on topic, the right arm (from the viewers POV) looks twisted and out fo perspective, try chaning the fist and arm so that it goes parallel to the edge of the picture, if you get what i mean. |

worthless_meat_sack: I'm gonna start drawing a lot more now anyway since the internet is basically off limits :-/ i can only go on like an hour or two per week now
chicks like sketchpads... nice... now where do i find the chicks?
Halogenic: Hmm i'm not to sure what you mean about the arm... but it still need a lot of work.. i'm gonna try and put it through a few different positions, I'll probably do some in like a day, thanks for the help |
