of slime. eventually its gona be some sort of
transportation like a horse or something..

You're doing some nice things with the details, but at this point it seems just like a big photoshop scratch file.
If you really want to create a whole experience have a clear idea of the creatures finalized anatomy, size, shape, weight, give it a dynamic pose, etc.. Make sure you sketch it out as fully as possible before you go in and spend hours rendering lighting, skin imperfections and other details. Also when you do get to this stage be sure to pay close attention to your light source(s)!
Lets see this thing in its natural(?) environment! |

heeheehee, omg thats lookin really crazy =)
but its really fine
the forst thing that stroke my head is: make his suit like a cooking pot with mechanical legs and a tube going vertically out of it where the slime can crawl up at the inner side of it for looking over the cooking pot's rim |

thanks for thee comments..
napalm : yea, that seems to be the trouble
with me at the minute, i get too screwed up
with just one section of an image without
concentrating on its overall structure.
well the first stage is to admit you have
a problem! - so hopefully i can overcome this
gekitsu - nice suggestion!, i had something
like this in mind but hadn't really
thought it out throughly
hopefully ill find the time to work on it
sometime |

Maybe some mech like augs around it to replace the skeletal system im guessing it doesnt have? Kinda like motor driven leg braces etc to emphasise the "Slime creatre with exoskeleton / external form" thing happening =)
Alot like gekitsu said but more on the vibe of that the suit is like a crysalis, when the slime critter isnt there its just a hollow shell.

Dude, thats looking sweet, the metallic hooves are a good touch too =)
Im still thinking though...if i had a bag full of slime and i jumped on its back wouldnt it just squish? =)
definitely find a way to emphasise that the slime critter can flex and provide resistance, eg, stand tall without the suit etc, that way it makes sense that it can support weight.
But yeah, thats coming along very well =) |
