Here is another image. I'm trying for a sterile, slightly worn look. If somebody could tell me how i might make scratches on his painted metal body it would be much appreciated. It supposed to be a robot designed for taking out the personnel at indoor locations. I was thinking how we'ed get Osama in the future. It's quite a violent robot. It maneuvers on the 3 chained spikes controlled by a powerful magnet swinging around like tarzan and walking on them(its is extremely fast and maneuverable yet regal like the scorpion king and spawn's cape mixed). One is coming towards the screen. They are also the primary weapon along with the one coming out the bottom, its two pinchers, and a minigun on the incomplete head. The essence of the painting is lost without the head which i plan on working on next. The brown is just filler for the cave bground i plan on.
As i;m working on this please give suggestions and critiques and comments.

Well it's really hard to comment on this, it's even less finished than an average sketch. I just don't understand the whole '3 chained spikes' thing, I guess I'm dense, but a picture is worth a thousand words they say. Could you maybe superimpose your sketch on this, that would help a lot. Or just show your sketch. Or just finish it some more. |
