I bought a book called The Weapons of World War 3 which is for psychos only. It says on the inside jacket 'dedicated to mum'
There are lots of evil cold war weapons. Did you know there was an Atomic Cannon? What genious thought that up? A cannon that fires nuclear warheads?? Sarcasm is probably out of place. I bet Braveheart wished he had one of them. Just one...
Here iz a tank, tell me what you think.

Cool idea, but it seems quite primitive considering the deployment date. I would think something that far in the future would have more advanced engineering. For instance the drive belts are completely exposed. Any damamge to those, and the tank is completely immobile! The overall shape of the tank is very "retro" like many WWII tanks. If you want to have a more futuristic look to it I would base your design, on the latest current military stuff. Look at the shape and design of the M1 Abrams and the Isreali Merkava. The merkava is the bad boy of all current armored weoponry IMO. The angles used in the body construction are designed to deflect shells that hit the hull. Also, the interior is completely lined with Kevlar. A direct hit from a shell isn't what kills the crew, its the shrapnel from the inside lining of the tank that bounces around and kills everyone. The merkava eliminates that with the Kevlar lining.
This is way too much information, but maybe a few things to think about as you design vehicles. Good luck. |

uhm Cruiserhead.... it's called RETRO, it looks good, and that's all that matters, heh the only thing I'd say is tighten up the linework, and send it off to the factory
unless you are designing a vehicle to be USED, it only needs two things... it needs to LOOK like it weighs the right amount, and it needs to look like it does what it should, in this case, it seems slow and deliberate when it moves.... but the mass needs some help because the vehicle just seems a big flimsy with all those linked parts... still, it's your design, and those are my oppinions
not that I have any problem with the Markeva(the name means chariot), being israeli myself |
