this is with a lift off technique...I'm pretty happy w/ it. The original is huge, so this is a scan of a reduced color copy.. i.e. there is a loss in image quality i think.
tell me whatcha think...

you paint the whole picture plane with color...gradient... and then u lift out the lights with s damp/wet brush. It takes a long time, but u come out with a nice moody effect
