Finally got this thing I've been wanting for ages (w00t).

Here's my first go at it. He's the 'weekly character' for my site (again, something where I take submitted descriptions and illustrate them). I did it all in one night/ with no reference. Critics greatly wanted...

Eh, though this forum is full of Pros, if theres anyone out there that draws worse than me and roleplays/writes, you might wanna check the weekly character stuff at my site ( www.cicinimoart.com )

Damn, i like that alot...the coat looks very nice, and the fog/cloud, whatever he is standing in is nice too..maybe its just me , but just under the scrope on the gun where it goes into the barrel , it looks kinda off like its not connected to the gun. maybe a rework of shadows would help that...oo just noticed somethin else not huge, but some of the buildings in the back seem to have the same size windows as the ones in front of them, they syhould probably be a little smallerin the back.

yah. REdo the buildings in the back and you have one nice image. The back is adding a lot of flatness now, especially since there is no depth given. Keep in mind of the perspective.... well i guess it could work. You just have to soften up the edges in the background because the fog kind of softens it up.

just get rid of those heinous windows and see how it looks =0

Hey, thanks for the comments there. Yeah, the building are flat and no good. Your right. And also I see what you mean about that barrel on the gun. Good eye...
