Very nice design. One thing I'm not sold on though is your use of midtones. I think your blacks are really good and sharp and whites are generally used well. There are some areas that the white should be 'eased' into a little. Say the face for example, the cheek bones could be better defined if the greys where extended into the white areas.
Take the torso as another example. You have some grey but it just looks 'smudged'. You need the 'whites' to be whiter and a better transition/gradient between blacks to whites.
