(gods I'm going to get fried for this... but here goes)

Just out of curiousity... how come alot of really great artists *points around the forum in general* take themselves very seriously for alot of the time?

I understand that everyone deserves respect for thier art and the like, but sometimes there's a really bad reaction to a misinterperated (or in my case just a plain stupid) post about something inane.

and frozen, since I was no doubt partly responsible for the recent "you're too serious" backlash, let me say I love flippant humor, but I don't think shit about mass murder, especially when the person at leastacts serious about the sentiment, should be greeted with "HA HA THAT IS SO FUNNY YOU SHOULD KILL ALL THEM THERE MOTHERFUCKERS"
