nice rendering there... nice exageration to anatomy. But to tell you the truth i would be lying to you if i was a fan of anime. I try not to post any comments to anime pictures. but this looks pretty good i think because it doesnt really look like anime. HAHA. I just despise anime and manga.. But thats just me..

thanks for the comps and candidness...to be honest there is plenty of anime and manga crap out there that i don't like...hhmmm, could it be that i am drawing in the "anime of no-anime" style...never mind that's too nutty. anyway, i'm glad you liked it cause you thought it didn't look like anime.

i dont want to seem close minded... but to tell you the truth the ONLY anime i liked was Princess Monenoke Or how ever you spell it... I didnt care much for the movie or the characters or animation or even the story. I was breath taken by the AMAZING backgrounds.

I dont like anime or MAnga period any kind. i just turn around and go somewhere else. In my opinion its been over done and well i dont really care much ( same thing for some fantasy paintings soo it notjust anime)
Everytime i see the anime style or manga it makes me sick to my stomac ( literally).

but seriously i like this pic its like a cross blend of sort of animeish and american comic book hero...

it is interesting, some folks have said they "see the influence of anime" in my "pieces"...i know that i draw what i like, and i like what i draw *chuckles*...oh, well, whatever both american comics and japanese manga have had influence on my work, so i am glad you like that aspect!
