hehe jr i know you peeked on the blind contout how did you align the face features soo well without looking and the propotions at pretty good for the face =).. ahah when ihad to do one the first time a few month back for class i peeked lol. But i stopped doing that its more interesting if you dont peek maked youwonder what it will look like.. One of y blind contouts looked like the model was some kind of genie/cow comming out of a lamp =)...
Anyways and about your 1 minute post. I like but one crit try to get the whole model and get hands and feet and legs in there =)... put your self on a time limit. i usually give myself a 4 second time on each limb. that way i paste myself and i get the whole model on. It might not look pretty hehe but after alot of these 1 minute sketches you improove alot and get teh WHOLE model in and it looks good. What what i can see in your picture you have alot of useless lines around the legs and torso. The amount of time spent on these lines weither it was 1 second or 10 seconds+ could have been put to good use =)..
Anyways im no pro im just tryin to give you some info based on what i see , form what i have learned and from what my animation room mater taught me .
ITs all good were all here to learn and good work.. i like these pic...
I should be posting some of my life drawing / painting soon from my classes |

ok I'll bite. Haven't done any figure drawing in a while, but here's some "older" stuff (from early-to-mid 2001) that I scrounged up -- pretty sure I haven't posted them before. They're like 10-15 mins each I think, 'cept for the red girl.
this one's for synj:
I dig the 1 min sketch, jr. My 1 mins look like scribbles. |

Love the figure drawings.
You know what I'm gonna say to you...
I want to see the hands and the feet.
You do the head and the torso and so beautifully....If you obsessed as much over the the appendages as you obsess over the face...I'd be scared of you. |
