This is a painting done with applying acrylics with a palette knife. I thought it was finished- but now I'm thinking I should add some oil glazes over top. It seems too flat. Tell me what you think. http://www.epilogue.net/cgi/database/art/view.pl?id=7158 |

Ahh, nice! Especially the colours!
But yeah it is a little flat....
Look into it or don't, it still is pleasing.

hmm....there is something really memorable about this picture. the expression on her face is fetching, to say the least. somewhat cartoonish on the anatomy but that could be fixed by putting more shading on her clothing. perhaps round out the backside? you're on the right track, though, definitely. very lovely |

she looks like a very deep woman......as if she is not quite paying attention to the little dragon she is holding as something far away has her full attention.
its a styling piece of work. |

geelimp- It is 18"x24" on canvas board.
tyron- I'll double check the arm.
Thanks for the great feedback everyone! I'm going to work more on this in oils and I'll repost it when it's finished. |
