This image was created at http://tiles.ice.org.
Quilt Size: 10 across by 5 down
Tile Size: 128 x 192 pixels
User Data: 19 users contributing (avg 2.6315789473684 tiles each)
Final Stats: 50 tiles representing 374 hours of work (2 weeks)
There are dozens of optical illusions in there, have fun. When this many artists work on a project together without seeing what anyone else has contributed, mixed results occur, mainly because of all the varying styles and skill levels. It still returns some very interesting and unexpected results.
Crits comments and new tilers are always welcome!

BTW: This quilt was a tribute to M.C. Escher if you couldn't tell. |

Mr. T: Just like to pimp the tiles site once every few months over here. Who knows, we might even pick up another Jito!
Also, the next quilt we are making is a tribute to Giger if anyone wants in. The list of invitations is going to be more strict than for the Escher quilt, but I'm sure that almost everyone that posts on these forums is qualified. |

That's awesome, but I don't see any rollups! Rollups were the best Escher creation ever!! |

We an artist draws their tile, they can't see many of the already completed tiles. Maybe some artists assumed there were already roll-ups somewhere else on the quilt and didn't want to duplicate them. Someone had the guts to make a chrome sphere though.
I made 5 tiles...
the Cubic Space Division one,
the tile with 3 people carrying boxes with 3 different gravities,
the window in the lower right corner,
A four sided tile to tie all the neighbors together (that touches the chess board),
and the tile on the bottom where the grounds and ceilings flip. (has presents with ropes) |
