They were originally rejected because I felt they didn't capture what I wanted, but now, after months of distance, I can look at them with a different perspective and see that they aren't that bad.

the third one and the last two are the ones I like.

Its intersting how everybody here seems to have a different thing they like to photograph more than anything else. You could have alot worse subjects to capture.

I'm betting we are going to see that third one in the next rotation of X-cam ads.

I can see why you would initially reject these, having seen a bunch of the ones you posted previously. They don't suck, but they do seem to lack some of the imapct your other shots had.

The interesting thing about the third one to me is the potential it has. Obviously the first thing one sees is a rather racy, voyeuristic kind of photo. But if if you could capture some emotional depth of character in her expression or body language it would be a very cool shot. I don't know quite how to explain it, but basically there should be something there that prevent someone from going "hey, a girl is taking off her cloths!" and nothing thinking much else about the picture. If she was glancing over her shoulder (across the picture plane) with a somber or subtly worried expression it might make people subconsciously try to think about what was going on just then. Did she hear a noise and become worried? What is over there that she is looking at? That kind of stuff.

Sorry I'm rambling. Too much coffee again.

*laughs at the x-cam ad reference*

Actually I love the one with the colored curtains, its my fav. The only thing I don't like about it is the hair scrunchie. Its rather distracting - a black hair band would work soooo much nicer. In my opinion anyway.
