These things have been a blast to read, so I thought I'd share a little with you guys about my home state, New Mexico. I posted only a few photos, but I'd be willing to scan more upon request.

I've been to New Mexico more times than I can count... White Sands is a pretty neat place. Cool pics, I like the turtles. Turtles are cute.  |

Yeah, White Sands is pretty spectacular, Mama Texas. I returned with a water bottle full of sand, too. I accidentally smuggled it in my shoes, which is something of a bittersweet experience.
Gimbal: It's something to behold up close, too. Usually, it's not so .. aggragated as it is in that picture. They're usually spread out by a few thousand feet.
