Hi guys,
This was my assignment for my application interview for college.
I'm doing illustration. The assignment was to make an illustration about how I stand in the world and how I percieve the world.
This was in WIP a while back. But I couldn't post it earlier because my webserver was down the past week.
I got admitted BTW.

i like it, im curious though, the bottom half of the image has a distincly water colour kinda look to it... what'd u do it with? |

Well I painted the whole painted part using masks and than painting into those with the big canvas textured brushes in photoshop.
I guess that made it look different. It was just an experiment.
A lot of people thought it's pastels when they saw the print actually. But the textured surface is barely visible in this small version. |

I like it, it gives a lot of room for interpretation (hope that is the right spelling, english isn't my mothertougne ). |

sorry to say but the sky looks distinctly cheesy and photoshopped. maybe if you did something more original with it it wouldn't detract from the otherwise good picture. |
