Hi guys,

This was my assignment for my application interview for college.
I'm doing illustration. The assignment was to make an illustration about how I stand in the world and how I percieve the world.

This was in WIP a while back. But I couldn't post it earlier because my webserver was down the past week.

I got admitted BTW.

i like it, im curious though, the bottom half of the image has a distincly water colour kinda look to it... what'd u do it with?

Well I painted the whole painted part using masks and than painting into those with the big canvas textured brushes in photoshop.
I guess that made it look different. It was just an experiment.
A lot of people thought it's pastels when they saw the print actually. But the textured surface is barely visible in this small version.

I like it, it gives a lot of room for interpretation (hope that is the right spelling, english isn't my mothertougne ).

sorry to say but the sky looks distinctly cheesy and photoshopped. maybe if you did something more original with it it wouldn't detract from the otherwise good picture.
