Hi Max,
Well, I like it. I hadn't seen it earlier...but I am sporadic here, at best. He definitely seems to regret what he's done. Pardon me, did you use a reference? No biggie, regardless. It does seem to be rather soft/blurry. You may want to sharpen some elements up. I am not exactly sure how to do that...I haven't gotten my stuff to a "painterly" level. Any significance to the red sweater? Interesting contrast to the gray, there. I also like the slight rotation on the composition. Keep it up! |

SiLeNt_UK: why
cptoonz: Thank you. I used reference on the hands and on the face.
Yes, it's too blurry, hard to fix that ( for me )
No, no significance on the sweather.
Eyewoo said I should paint it dark reddish.
And this lightsource was also his idea.
( thank's to eyewoo ) |

He IS a she.
Now I looked a second time more careful because you are the 4th one who said that she is a boy.
No, wait, you said he looks like a girl believing she is a boy.
I am confused......
Yea, now I see it myself. She looks like a boy...or he looks like a girl?????
Oh no, what have I done wrong?

Nice image, she does remind me of an actress.. but can't recall the name at the moment.
A few nitpicks.. at the joining edges between her fingers and the iron bar, some reds are still showing through. And places like the opening of her sleeves and her hands, there are still some white fuzzy edges that might clean up. there's a patch of flat colour on her nose that could use some variation like the rest of her face I think.
another thing, the red is quite prominent part of this image, perhaps you could have it reflected a bit on the iron bars, her skin, and her chins where appropriate.
Nice pic overall, keep it coming. |
