I am going to be leaving this weekend to see the world (at least a tiny portion of it) and I need help so I don't miss anything spectacular. I live in Minnesota of the USA and will be driving straight to Whistler, B.C. to stay for 2 weeks. Lounging is the main attraction on the itinerary. What should I not miss while there? I will be checking out some schools... Emily Carr, CDIS, VFS, while I am there but is there anything else in the area that I "Can't miss"?

After the 2 weeks is up we are heading down the coast to Seattle for a night. Then down to Northern California for a few days. We are planning on staying in EUREKA! California. That is tentative though, I just want to stay on the ocean and see redwood trees. Any recommendations on what to do when in Cali would be a HUGE help. I am bringing many paints and sketch books and a large Sijun-geographic will be posted when I get back. (Got a new Nikon coolpix 885 for the trip.)

Again any tips would be much appreciated,

If you're gonna be in BC you cant miss the Okanagan. Check out Kelowna, maybe look me up, we'll go for coffee or something.

also on your way back down through Seattle be sure to go to the Boeing Airfields. really cool history there.

make sure you visit downtown seattle, it's pretty :] oh and bring your sketchbook.
